This property was bought at 1895 from my great grand parents and was the family home of my mother in her younger years. It is located in the center of the pedestrian promenade, where the old town meets the sandy beach of Rethymno and it is separated into three spacious restored apartments in the family residence with unobstructed sea views of the Venetian port and the marina. Traditional Cretan elements such as the arches in the kitchen and the wooden ceilings blend in with the modern comforts of a luxury boutique hotel. It has always been my dream to give life back to this house and make it a unique accommodation for visitors.

I was born in Rethymnon but lived most of my life in Athens and NY where i did my studies in Business and Marketing and also worked for the Greek National Tourist Office. In 2006 returned to Rethymno as a business loan manager at the local Alpha bank branch and in 2009 decided to renovate my families residence into three comfortable apartments. I enjoy meeting people from around the world, offering warm hearted hospitality and helping them have great holidays in Crete.

Near the residence you can visit historic sites of Rethymno (Rimondi fountain, mosques, old churches, venetian houses), wander around the stone paved alleys of the old town and discover romantic cafes and traditional gift shops, dine at the fish taverns of the Venetian Harbor and elegant restaurants in the old town, or walk barefooted on the seaside across our hotel
