My mother lives on the 2nd floor of the villa which is a separate house. She needs to enter the villa from the front door and use the internal stairs to get to the 2nd floor. She is really quiet and will not get in your way.
Me and my wife live right behind the villa where I have an organic vegetable garden. I always share vegetables with my guests. I will always be near when needed to assist you with anything!
