Corfu Lakeside Cottage is situated in the most historic area of Corfu in Paleopolis, Kanoni next to the lake Halikiopoulou. During ancient times at the Peninsula of Kanoni was located the ancient city of Corfu and the lagoon was its port. Today, Kanoni is an inhabited area with significant sights like Mon Repos Palace, Vlacherna Monastery and Pontikonisi. There are restaurants and cocktail bars that you can spent your time gazing at the great view and the lovely nature. Also, Garitsa Bay, the city of Corfu and the Airport are really close and there are often bus routes for there. The neighborhood around the apartment is quit and relaxing thanks to the lush countryside and the unique natural environment around the lake, where rare birds like the Great Egret can be observed.
