Nóa Suites are located in beautiful Arillas on the Northwest side of Corfu. The apartments are in a quiet area and just a few hundred meters from the sea. A family business that started its operation in 1987 under the name "Dimitra Studios". In 2023, it passed on to the next generation, it was completely renovated and transformed into "Nóa Suites". With an emphasis on environmental protection and sustainable development, our vision is to offer an authentic island travel experience to every guest. With simplicity, passion and respect for tradition and the environment, we face the future with optimism and continue to invest in our homeland. Mythology — The Story Behind “Nóa” According to Homer and several ancient accounts, the ships of the Phaeacians were called “Nóa” — vessels said to move guided only by thought. This mythical type of ship is known as the “Apidalos Naus” (Unhelmed Ship) and remains one of the symbolic elements of Corfu’s rich cultural tradition. Etymology — The Meaning of “Nous” The word “Nous” comes from the ancient Greek noesis, derived from noeo/noo, meaning “to perceive with the mind” or “to understand.” At its root lies the word “nous”, meaning “mind” — the source of intuition, clarity and insight.
