Neighborhood info

The traditional village of Kamari consists of narrow streets and houses built with Vaults and very high-ceilings. It was built by residents of the nearby village of Episkopi Gonias, which was almost flattened by a devastating earthquake that hit Santorini in July 1956. It is just 2-minute walk to the black beach, the main beach road where most of the restaurants and shops in Kamari are located and the famous open-air cinema.
