The unit is built by the sea of Drapanias, with wonderfull view to the bay of Kissamos. The architecture is in traditional style with natural materials (like stone, wood) and respect to the environment. In the unit these is a small folk Museum with Conference room for slides presentations.
My my name is Manolis Marinakis, and my mother Stella. We try to combine tourism with the culture and the history of Crete. I am phD archaeologist, so i can provide specific information to our quests for the archaeological sites of Kissamos and its Museum. The unit is a family property, so we have personal, friendly contact with our quests.
In Drapanias area there are historical old buildings from the Venetian time, like Villa Travisan. Drapanias is an idel place for wakling in the natural environment. The beach is clear full of maritime lilies. Near us there are some Taverns -Cafe , Mini Market, and shops in Kisamos town just 5 km.
