Echoes of Thrace is a boutique apartment created as a calm and comfortable base in the heart of Xanthi. The space is designed to help guests rest deeply, feel at ease, and recharge, while also inspiring them to step outside and explore the city and the wider region of Thrace. The interior draws inspiration from the Pomak communities of the Rhodope mountains. Traditional garments and a curated gallery of photographs reflect everyday life, craftsmanship, and memory, presented with respect and simplicity so culture is felt quietly rather than displayed. Centrally located and within easy walking distance of the old town, cafés, and local shops, the apartment is ideal for travelers who value comfort and a genuine sense of place. Whether visiting Xanthi for a short stay or using it as a starting point to discover northern Greece, Echoes of Thrace offers a thoughtful balance between rest and discovery. I am originally from Xanthi, a city I remain deeply connected to for its diversity, its people, and its layered history. Growing up here shaped the way I see place, community, and belonging, and it continues to influence how I welcome guests today. My relationship with travel started early. I first traveled with my parents and, from a young age, began exploring on my own across different countries and cultures. Through these experiences, I learned the value of authentic encounters, human connection, and the need for calm, comfortable spaces that allow travelers to rest, reflect, and reset between explorations. Hosting is my way of sharing this philosophy. I aim to offer guests a thoughtful and easy stay, while giving them the freedom to experience Xanthi and the wider region at their own pace. I host discreetly and with care, and I am always available to help with recommendations or anything guests may need during their stay.

The apartment is located in a central and lived in part of Xanthi, just a short walk from the old town and the historic center. Platia Dimokratias, the city’s main square, is only 150 meters away, around a two minute walk from the apartment. The neighborhood reflects the everyday rhythm of the city, with cafés, bakeries, small shops, and local services woven naturally into daily life. From here, guests can easily explore the colorful streets and architecture of the old town, enjoy traditional food, or simply wander and observe Xanthi’s layered cultural character. The area offers a balanced mix of activity and calm, making it ideal both for resting and for discovering the city on foot. It also works well as a starting point for exploring the wider region of Thrace, with mountain villages, walking routes, and natural landscapes within easy reach.
