The Villa has been certified with the Seal of Approval. Our dear guests, warm welcome to Eleni's Cottage and Skiathos, a picturesque island in the Northern Sporades complex, in the northwest Aegean Sea. This cosy house can accommodate up to 4 people in its 1 bedroom & mezzanine and is located within walking distance from the closest beach, just a short walk on foot! Additionally, it offers easy access to all daily amenities such as super markets, tavernas, bakery, butcher, grocery store and cafe, all within 1-2 Km in the area of Xanemos & Skiathos town centre. Furthermore, a variety of activities, such as horse riding and go kart are also within hand’s reach, just 1-4 Km, giving you ample opportunity for fun family time. Pool operates seasonally (end of March - middle of November) Air-conditioning in all areas is included & serves for heating purposes also Smoking is allowed only outdoors. No pets allowed. No events allowed. Climate Resilience Fee A 8 euros/night/villa tax (subject to change) isn’t included in booking prices. It must be paid in euros at check-in to your Host.


Neighborhood info

The only town on the island and a thriving cosmopolitan centre, Skiathos Town can accommodate all tastes. In ancient times the Persians, Greeks and Macedonians fought battles in the seas around the island. In the 13th century it was the Venetians that controlled Skiathos and in the 18th century when under Ottoman rule, the town - and specifically the Evangelistria Monastery - played a part in the Greek War of Independence. During the day the town can appear somewhat sleepy but in the evenings the waterfront hums with life and one is confronted with a daunting array of restaurants, cafe bars and tavernas. Nightlife could mean a quiet cafe, a lively bar or an up-to-the minute music club. Mama Mia movie was filmed there. Distances to Important Locations Beach: 15 minutes on foot Taverna, Bakery, Butcher, Fish market: 2 Km ( approximately 7 minutes drive distance) Super Market: 2 Km ( approximately 7 minutes drive & 20 minutes walking distance)  Airport & Port: 2 Km ( approximately 7 minutes drive & 20 minutes driving distance) Renting a car would be essential in order to explore the whole islands beauties, we can help you arrange that as well if you wish.
