The Eleonora apartment is located in the most central part of the Old Town. We are just a one-minute walk from the Old Port and the restaurants of Chania, and a 10-minute walk from the city center and major department stores. The beach, known as Nea Chora, is a 12-minute walk away. Additionally, the central bus station is only 10 minutes away on foot if you wish to book an excursion or explore more remote beaches. ​We believe in being honest with our guests about the reality of staying in the Old Town. While the location is fantastic, the main challenge is parking and crowds. Due to the high volume of visitors, parking spaces are very limited, and you may need to wait to find a spot. If you plan to rent a car, please be prepared to be patient, as finding free parking in this area can be difficult. ​That said, there are many wonderful benefits to staying in the heart of the Old Town. If you wish to explore the Old Port, two famous landmarks are nearby: the Firkas Fortress, which is just a 2-minute walk from our accommodation, and the historic Lighthouse, which is located on the opposite side of the harbor, about a 25-minute walk away. ​We want our guests to have an accurate description of what to expect.
