Elia Woodstone Houses were renovated to highlight the architectural and traditional elements of the existing spaces. The Houses are grouped in three different complexes. The first complex is comprised of Irida - a 4 bedroom house and Anemone a 1 bedroom house, sharing the pool and garden. The second complex is comprised of Thalasocrino - a 4 bedroom house and Elihriso a 2 bedroom house, sharing the pool and garden. The third complex is comprised of Margariti Woodstone House a 2 bedroom house without a pool. All 5 houses are located in the small village called Elia, just 10 km away from Heraklion, the capital city of the island. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with no habitable houses nearby. The view is quite stunning and unique, a characteristic of the Cretan island, where you are surrounded by mountains and sea. The name of the village is referencing one of the most treasured resources of the island: olives. For Cretans, growing olives, is a way of living that nourishes them and helps them have a strong healthy life.

Elea is a village and former commune of Pediados countryside, with 652 residents and homonym local commune of Hersonisos municipality of Heraklion. The location is on a hill, with panoramic view at the sea at 230m altitude. Main occupation of the residents is farming, and more specifically with olive oil, and animal growing. They also produce wine and raisins. Kokkinis Hani beach, just 4km away, is a traditional village with simple and quiet people, with an amazing hospitality. Elea is not a tourists place, thats why all residents remain authentic to the cretan culture. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe for children. A small super market is locatead nearby. During summer there is a taverna, with very good and traditional food. Nearby attractions also include Water City Park, Crete Aquarium and Knossos Palace.
