Elounda George Studios is a family business, located in Talaiou Street, in a quiet and beautiful place, surrounded by plenty of olive trees while the sea is set on the background, near the Ancient city of Olous or Olounda, such as the archaeologists used to call the renowned village of Elounda back in time of Minoan civilization and in Homer epics. Elounda George Studios consist of ten fully functional apartments decorated in a cozy rustic style and equipped according to the sustainability principles in order to provide the guests warmth and comfort to relax and spend their vacation in one of the most astonishing places in Crete.Each Studio can accommodate up to 3 persons. Either 2 single beds or a double bed is provided together with an extra bed when needed for the third person.The Studios are within 5 minutes walking from the centre, while all the services (super market, pharmacy, post office etc.) are very close within walking distance. It is remarkable that all the nearby beaches are awarded by the Blue Flags Institution.

Eleni became an environmentalist and after her graduation returned back to Crete out of her love for her birth roots, the Cretan landscape and the people. She has also studied Pedagogy and speaks four foreign languages. The idea of hosting people really excites her, with the goal to show the guests the extraordinary beauty of Cretan land, the delicious gastronomy, the unique Cretan culture, and the traditional ethics and customs. The last thirteen years Eleni has been dealing with tourism in various job positions, while in parallel she has developed experience in Environmental and Education projects. Moreover she is much communicative, has an extraordinary love for Cretan music, traditional festivals around the island and will definitely suggest you one of the best Cretan celebrations around to visit and enjoy as a local as she herself does. The Studios are located in walking distance from the historic center of the village, the highlights of which are; The sunken Ancient Olous, Alykes (salt pans), The Canal, Windmills, The Early Christian Basilica in Poros, the island of Spinalonga. Moreover plenty of activities are provided all year long with the most remarkable; music dance festivals around during summer, water sports, raki distillation process during autumn, hiking, herbs' collection, traditional customs during Easter and much more!
