Nestled near the heart of the charming village of Kalyves, Elysian Garden Apartments offers a unique and tranquil escape, just steps away from the sparkling blue waters of the Cretan Sea, This private, beautifully appointed apartment is sits in the middle of the beautyful cities of Chania and Rethymon and is a perfect location for exploring the Island. The Self-catered apartment features two terraces, offering guests views of the olive grove, a glimps of the beach, the charming village and the rolling hills. The highlight of Elysian Garden is its prime location—only a short 230-meter from the golden sands of Herman's Beach. Here, you can enjoy the calming sound of the waves lapping the shore while soaking up the sun or taking a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters. With the beach just 3 minutes walk away, you'll have the best of both worlds—privacy and proximity. Elysian Garden Kalyves is located in a quiet, dead-end street. From there, it's an easy walk of just 100 meters downhill to reach the village square, where you'll find plenty of charming terraces and restaurants. However, if you have limited mobility, it's good to keep in mind that the walk involves a bit of a slope. Of course, you can also reach everything easily by car.
After falling in love with Creta and aspecially Kalyves, your host Ronald bought Elysian Garden Apartments in december 2024. When he is not working he loves to go Kitesurfing, Sup-boarding and lovest to produce music at home in The Netherlands. As a host, Ronald wants to give people a carefree and comfortable holiday when staying at the apartment, therefore he works with local trusted companies for maintanance and cleaning.
Whether you are enjoying a relaxing walk along the beach, enjoying a fresh fish dish in one of the many seaside taverns or exploring the nearby town of Chania, Elysian Garden puts you at the heart of it all. Elysian Garden Apartments is located in the middle of Chania and Rethymon. From here you can easily visit places such as Balos Beach, the pink sand of Elafonisi Beach, Arkadi Monastery, Spili or one of the many archaeological sites, Venetian fords, waterfalls or caves.
