Located on the eastern side of Lemnos Island, Moudros is a charming and historically rich village that offers a peaceful base for exploring the island’s most treasured sights. As the second-largest settlement on Lemnos, Moudros combines traditional charm with convenient access to both natural and cultural attractions. Just a short drive from the village, you'll find some of the island’s most beautiful beaches, including the expansive Fanaraki Beach (both Mikro and Megalo Fanaraki at 4 km), famous for its crystal-clear waters and golden sands. Chavouli Beach (4,5 km) and Redrock Beach (9km) are also nearby, ideal for those seeking more secluded spots to relax and swim. And, of course, the worldwide renowned for its water sports beach of Keros is just 12 minutes away. History lovers will enjoy visiting the ancient city of Poliochni (10 km), one of Europe’s oldest settlements. An excursion to the impressive Cabeiri sanctuary and the Cave of Philoctetes (17 km) can easily be combined with a visit to the ancient theater of Hephaestia (14 km).
