Fakistra’s Blue House is a beautiful small detached house, nicely built on a quiet 4.5-acres olive-tree plot, on a slope just above the beach of Fakistra, with a breath-taking view of the Aegean Sea. The stay is an amazing experience as the incredible sea view can be accessed from all the windows of the house, from the yard with the deck, from the 6-person jacuzzi, from the cot, but also from the kiosk, which allows you to enjoy the horizon being in the shade even during the hottest hours of the day. The friendly owner provides everything needed for a traditional breakfast: Eggs from his hens, honey from his beehives, homemade jams and cheese from his own animals of the adjacent farm.
Apart from the quiet and picturesque beach of Fakistra, the exquisite and well-known beaches of Mylopotamos, Damouchari and Ai Giannis, as well as the ski center of Chania Pelion with the Agriolefkes track, are only 15-25 minutes by car. Fakistra’s Blue House is only 2.5 km away from the center of the beautiful traditional village of Tsagarada, with the three famous squares: the square of Agia Paraskevi with the 1000-year-old plane tree, the square of Agia Kyriaki, the square of Agioi Taxiarches with its 2,5-century church, and the square of Agios Stefanos. Tsagarada offers excellent opportunities for both organized and non-organized hiking, mountaineering and tours of gorges of stunning beauty. It also offers high quality bars, cafes, taverns, and restaurants of Greek, modern Mediterranean and international cuisine. The nearest airport is Anchialos Airport, 67 km away.
