The house took its name from my beloved grandmother. It was built in 1932 and due to the war, the poverty and the years the house was destroyed. After a lot of thought and time, I – the granddaughter Maria-Christina and my husband Giannis, have decided to build the rebuilt house and bring back all those moments and smiles to honor the memory of my grandmother. We hope you will enjoy our hospitality! Το Σπιτάκι της Γιαννίτσας... Το σπίτι ονομάστηκε έτσι από το όνομα της καλής μου γιαγιάς. Το σπίτι υπήρχε από το 1932 και λόγω φτώχιας, πολέμου γκρεμίστηκε με τα χρόνια. Μετά από πολύ καιρό και σκέψη, εγώ η εγγονή της Μαρία-Χριστίνα μαζί με τον άντρα μου Γιάννη, αποφασίσαμε να το ξαναχτίσουμε από την αρχή για να ξανά ζωντανέψουμε όλες αυτές τις όμορφες αναμνήσεις, στιγμές, χαμόγελα και τιμήσουμε την μνήμη της. Ελπίζουμε να απολαύσετε την φιλοξενία μας!
I love people!
Galaxidi was home to some of the country’s most important shipping families, a legacy which can be observed at the Nautical and Historical Museum, the first of its kind in Greece. Apart from its maritime history, Galaxidi is a destination that’s perfect for a weekend break or longer stay. Galaxidi’s island-like nature offers downhill paths lead to the sea, bougainvillea plants provide color to the alleys, and the wonderful promenade is popular for strolling. On the road below the house the guests will be able to find local taverns with traditional greek sea food. Local Super Market is located 3 min.walking, as well as the pharmacy.
