Welcome to Helios Selene, our traditional stone home in Mani, where the mountains meet the sea. My husband and I recently opened our beloved holiday home to guests. This 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom stone house offers beautiful open views of both the sea and the mountains. From the house, you can watch the sun rise over the mountains and set into the sea, and see the moon rise from the mountain peaks. It’s this daily meeting of sun and moon that inspired the name Helios Selene (Sun & Moon).

Hi. I'm Anna Maria but everyone calls me Nana. I currently live in Cardiff and love creating art as you will see everywhere in the house. I also love practising yoga, taking photographs, walking, reading, and travelling. My husband Mark and I just turned our holiday home into an airbnb and we're looking forward to welcoming you.

Our house is located in an area of extreme natural beauty.The contrast between mountain and sea in combination with the ever-changing horizon of colours is spectacular. The house is located 300 metres from the sea and the vivid sound of the waves crashing into the rocks can be heard from the balcony and verandas. There is a taverna with fantastic food a 10 minute walk from the house. There is also a beach below the taverna and a very pretty pebble beach even closer to the house. A 25-30 minute walk along the coast (5 minutes by car) brings you to the little fishing village of Agios Nikolaos, packed with tavernas, cafes and full of local atmosphere. There are many other villages of outstanding beauty within driving distance. Our house is a 12 minute walk to Pantazi beach and the tavern there (depending on how quickly you walk). The area is magical if you love walking and the outside is the best place to be.
