Villa Victoria is set on the outskirts of Rethymno, just beside the charming village of Gallos. Its elevated, hilltop location offers breathtaking views from every angle of the pool area and balconies. Nestled in nature and perched next to a small gorge, the villa provides a peaceful retreat where guests can enjoy uninterrupted views of both the sea and the gorge. Despite its serene setting, Rethymno city and its long sandy beach are only a short 6 km drive away. Spread across three floors, Villa Victoria comfortably accommodates 10 guests in its five bedrooms, with the option to host up to 12 guests if needed. Accommodation cost excludes Climate Resilience Tax. The amount for the accommodation type is set at 15 euros per night from April to October and 4 euros per night from November to March, payable upon check-in.

Neighborhood info

The villa is located on the outskirts of Rethymno town in a totally private area, near the small village of Gallos and the University of Crete. The surrounding area is rural and peaceful. Situated next to a small gorge it is often possible to sight wild birds such as eagles which glide through the gorge and pheasants that wander in the nearby fields. This is what makes Villa Victoria special and even though the town is close by you will rest peacefully and still feel “away from it all”! A stroll or a jog along your own private lane and the neighbouring roads are a great way to start your day and with such beautiful surroundings you are sure to refresh and re-energise. Just a little further on it is possible to reach the old part of Gallos village and experience its rustic charm. The newer part of Gallos hosts 2 mini markets and a great traditional tavern. Also, an organized tennis court is located just 600 meters away. More shops, are only a couple of minutes away by car (3 km) in the Koumpes area at the entrance of Rethymno town. Koumpes also has the closest sandy beach to the villa, however the more organized cosmopolitan beach of Rethymno is only 5 km away.
