Through a journey that started in 2001, Oreo Travel was founded by Stratos Beretis, an experienced member of the Greek Tourism Industry, a Graduate of the Department of Economics of the University of Crete and a Master Degree Holder in Tourism Business Management. Having passed through several management positions, he was won over by the occupation with tailor made tourism services and especially in inbound tourism in villas, independent properties, country houses and small holiday rental units. Oreo Travel started as a representative of global tour operators and continues to this day with an ever-growing network of partners and properties in Crete, Peloponnese and Athens, in line with the new promotional and managing methods. Our goal at Oreo Travel is to promote the properties we partner with in the best way possible, by solely operating as a booking agent on behalf of our partner-property owners, whom we advise and guide in providing high standards of hospitality for their guests, in accordance with the regulations and the laws that govern the accommodation industry. Furthermore, we are constantly available for our guests to answer questions, solve potential problems that may arise while booking or staying in and to recommend services that may be needed to facilitate their stay and maximize their travel experience (car rental, transportation, tours, excursions and concierge services). Sunset Maisonettes is a small complex of 3 identical modern maisonettes sharing a swimming pool located in the south of Crete island, in Mariou village, just a few minutes from the sandy beaches with stunning views of the Libyan sea and the surrounding landscape. On the ground floor, there is a large comfortable living room with a big sofa and dining table, a satellite TV set, heating, and great views. Furthermore, there is a fully equipped modern open-plan kitchen and a WC. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds and a modern bathroom. The balconies offer incredible views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. All areas are air-conditioned and covered by a fast WiFi internet connection. On the exterior, there is a shared swimming pool and outdoor furniture.

The village itself has a beautiful traditional tavern within walking distance from the property while in just 3 km there is the famous tourist area of Plakias and its unlimited amenities and attractions. At the same distance, there are many famous sandy beaches with crystal clear waters, water sports facilities as well as various taverns, cafes, and bars. A car is considered to be essential.
