The 200-year old Arapakis Historic Castle is set in one of the most characteristic fortresses of Mani. After its careful restoration, the hotel offers self-contained apartments, surrounded by a lush-green olive grove and a fitness center. Free WiFi is available throughout. Arapakis Castle ,200 years old, is a typical example of fortified architecture of Mani and characterized as a preserved Byzantine monument by the Ministry of Culture. Arapakis Castle consists of mill, oil press, tower,the castle as well as the homes of Arapakis’s family. It was the residence of the famous navigator Petrounis Arapakis who discovered Diros’s caves at 1897 and οn the 3rd of May 1910 he departed to make the tour of the world, with a small sailing ship " Pandora" . All the apartments are designed and equipped with an expensive taste. Visitors will enjoy their stay while relaxing and living in a spirit of different times far away from stressful lifestyle.
