Welcome to our studios in beautiful Stalis! Hi! My name is Evangelia. I was born and raised in Heraklion, Crete, and I’m half Greek and half Swedish. I’ve spent time living in the Netherlands, Athens, and Thessaloniki before returning to Crete to embrace island life and I truly couldn’t be happier to call this place home. I love exploring the island, discovering hidden villages, beautiful beaches, and authentic local tavernas, and I’m always happy to share my favorite spots with you so you can experience Crete like a local. Alongside hosting these two apartments here in Stalis, I also work with a local NGO supporting women entrepreneurs, which is something I’m very passionate about. Our studios are designed to offer you a comfortable and relaxing stay, whether you're here to unwind by the sea or explore all that Crete has to offer. Welcome to Kapetánissa Concept Studios — a cozy retreat inspired by the authentic Cretan way of life. Each 35m² ground-floor studio is designed for couples, friends, or small families of up to 3 guests, combining traditional charm with modern comfort. Inspired by the Cretan landscape and heritage, the studios feature natural materials such as stone, wood, and earthy textures, along with carefully selected handmade pieces by local artisans and family heirlooms. One of the studios is also accessible for guests with limited mobility. Each studio is fully equipped with a kitchen, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, coffee facilities, and all essentials for a comfortable and independent stay. We also provide Cretan herbal tea, coffee, and olive oil from our family’s olive groves. Sustainability is an important part of our philosophy. The studios include filtered drinking water, recycling guidelines, eco-friendly toiletries and cleaning products, and energy-saving features.

Our studios are ideally located on the beach road of Stalis, just a 1-minute walk from the beach and within easy reach of restaurants, bars, shops, pharmacies, medical centres, and anything else you may need during your stay. The Archaeological site of Malia, proudly standing among the UNESCO sites, is also a 5 minute drive from the studios. Kapetánissa Concept Studios are designed to offer a relaxing stay and serve as the perfect base to explore Crete like a local.
