Koukida House was created by Antonis, a local artist with passion and love for detail. The name of the accommodation was created by Vasiliki, her first sense for this little gem of the Aegean. An oxymoronic shape considering the polygonal building that “stands off” from the lines of Cycladic architecture, but it marks the personal taste of its inspirer. His love of cedars and stones defined the space emphasizing the simplicity and the truth that springs from the materials themselves. Carved stones with the chisel of Tinos, built-in terraces, handmade mosaics, carefully tended gardens. Natural beauty blends harmoniously with human intervention. The presence of Vasiliki, who became a companion and fellow traveler, completed the puzzle of artistic quests, sometimes adding and sometimes subtracting. Koukida House is located in the old part of the village, called Pano Gitonia. It's just 3 minutes walk to Stavros/main beach and 3 minutes drive to the port. It's very close to the main square and shops of the island while the visitor experiences incredible quietness and connection to the nature of Cyclades. There is free private parking outside of the property and transportation from the port, free of charge.
