The beach at Agios Gordis is long and sandy and has a stunning backdrop of impressive rock formations that seem to drop into the sea. There is always space on Agios Gordis, even in high season and the beach has the added plus of a village atmosphere making it an ideal location for a family holiday. The majority of accommodations are small Greek homes, apartments and studios and houses set within their own neat gardens and all just a few minutes walk from the beach where some water sports are available. There is an excellent choice of eateries both on the beach and within the winding lanes that lead up into the villages of Sinarades and Kato Garouna. There is a local bus service from Agios Gordis to Corfu Town and a taxi rank. If you take advantage of car hire you can reach the famous Achillion Palace in just 20 minutes or explore nearby beaches like Glyfada or the more remote ones near to Halikounas. There are 2 municipal car parks, one free and one with a small daily fee. There is also street parking.
