Providing direct access to mountains, countryside an d sea, La Casa Rustica is located in the village Roustika, in Rethymno. La Casa Roustica is 20km from the town of Rethymno, 10km from Episkopi beach and 18km from Plakias’ beautiful beaches. A private and quiet village house, ideal for families or small groups. The home offers two bedrooms: one with a double bed, and a second with a double bed plus a cozy loft with another double bed. Designed to feel like a true “home away from home,” the house is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Guests can also enjoy a BBQ area, perfect for relaxed outdoor dining. Families are especially welcome — we provide a park bed, baby chair, and even a small playground for young children.

Roustika is a small traditional Cretan village south of Rethymnon town. Roustika is located about 20 km from the centre of Rethymno. In Roustika live approximately 300 people. In the centre of the village one can enjoy traditional food at the taverns. About 5 mins by car one can find butcher shop, bakery and mini market. Roustika is a small, picturesque, traditional village with great architecture. Venetian influences are clearly visible. The village is built amphitheatrically on the slopes of a green mountain. The village is a listed area, one cannot build indiscriminately here, everything should be in the traditional old style. In 2005, the village won an award as the most well-kept village of the department of Rethymno. The village is built at about three hundred meters altitude, on the hill Ambelos. It is a village that was formed during the Venetian period.
