LA MER Suite has the same host as Akti Homes and Villa Eurycleia. Our guests can enjoy the Suite for themselves and do not have to share any facilities at all. It is their own holiday paradise for as long as they wish. If help is needed, we will be there to assist but never intrude.

At Suite LA MER you find exactly that. Peace, scenic spots, Calmness with breathtaking views to the North and East overlooking the hippie caves in Matala and the sea with the island Paximadia. The elegant LA MER Suite with a panoramic landscape, cerulean sky in the morning and colourful sunset in the evening. A modern suite built in 2023 that offers you all the amenities you will need for a fantastic experience.

Neighborhood info

The artificial caves in the cliff of the Matala bay were created in the Neolithic Age. Matala was the port of Phaistos during the Minoan period. Matala was a fishing village. In the 1960s, the caves were occupied by hippies who were later driven out by the church and the military junta. Matala's hippie history relives during the 3 days Matala Beach Festival, every June.
