Welcome to Lemon Tree Cottage. Our house has an island feel about it and is suitable for 2 or 3 persons .Our garden is large with many different spaces for relaxing including outdoor eating ,sunbathing or just chilling with a glass of wine. It has tropical umbrellas and sunbeds to relax on .Our sun terrace offers panoramic views down to the sea and the neighbouring olive groves and surrounding hills and is a nice place for an evening meal or just a drink. Inside you can cook in the well equipped kitchen and eat both indoors or outdoors
I am English and my wife is Greek and we both teach English as a foreign language . We have a daughter studying Art History at University and we enjoy travelling, art and design, the countryside and gardens. We enjoy meeting our guests when we can make it down to Finikounda.
We have a lovely local beach , Loutsa. close by.[ 3 min by car 15 min walk] There are many others within 5 kms. We also have a wonderful beach bar called Sabia only 3 min away. Finikounda the lively fishing town and its many shops, tavernas and great beach is only 5 min away There are the wonderful historical towns of Methoni, Koroni and Pylos within 20 mins. You could also sail to the nearby islands or relax in a tropical beach bar. You can swim , windsurf , dive, fish or just sunbathe , eat and drink. The wonderful archaeological sites of Messini and Ancient Olympia are also accessible.
