Limnos Windmills is an exceptional property which celebrates the beauty of traditions and everyday life on the island. The windmills are preserved since the Middle Ages. Restored and renovated, today they offer not only an idyllic setting for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, but also part of the living, breathing soul of Limnos. The renovated interiors are furnished with bespoke handmade furniture. The ground floor offers a cozy sitting room, with two chairs and a wooden barrel/cupboard/table. The bathroom has a unique mirror made of timber reclaimed from the sea. Going up the round stone steps to the top floor, is the bedroom. It is a one-of-a-kind room with a cone-shaped roof and a traditional feel. It has a double bed, a wardrobe, a safe and windows to enjoy the idyllic scenery outside. Each windmill has its own private terrace which goes around the windmill, complete with a seating area with deck chairs where you can relax and enjoy the sun and view. You can have your breakfast or your coffee in the breakfast area, surrounded by tall trees. The windmill is ideally suited for up to two people and you'll have the entire pace for yourselves.

Overall, this is a tranquil and quiet neighborhood. You can expect to wake up to the songs of birds and sheep bells – these will be first sounds you will hear in the morning. There is a picturesque little church just a little further down the road from the windmills. There are gentle hills in the vicinity where you can go for a hike. Enjoy quality food at the two village taverns, "Galini" and "San Allote". Visit the Gallery of Contemporary Art. Drink a cold beverage at the cafe "Platania". And don't miss a trip to the dam, in Tripotama of Chandrias stream – it is well worth a visit. The beautiful Evgatis beach is just 2 kilometers from the property. It is a big, sandy beach, perfect for diving. Organised diving is also available.
