Manolis House is not in a mainstream touristic settlement. The vivid hot spots of action (night life, beaches and fancy restaurants) are within 10min range by car, but in Douliana you can have this deep relaxed feeling. As if you were isolated ,or even lost. Soundtrack to that: Singing Birds. Specially on the mornings. Surrounded by cypress trees, hidden in the typical Cretan landscape, Manolis House gives a quality service, with all the features that will guarantee your pleasant stay. ManolisHouse is consistent from two different houses. The smaller ground floor and the second bigger one ,slightly elevated. Both houses have separated entrances, and can be rented as a single house to families and people who seek privacy. Therefore you will find three(3) descriptions for the available houses for rent. Please make sure that you read the descriptions and that you book the correct house that fits your needs. Maid service,clean sheet and towels will be provided after three nights. Pets are allowed. Please let us know when you make your reservation. Smoking is prohibited inside the houses. We ask your maximum attention even when smoking outside, because Manolis Houses are literally surrounded by trees, and the risk of fire is extremely high during the hot summer months. Manolis Houses are controlled and certified from the Fire Department, and have all the necessary equipment and installations. On your arrival, please read carefully the provided booklet and familiarize yourself with the emergency plans.

I am a retired carpender, and most of the hand made furniture of the house are made by me. I spend a lot of time keeping the gardens and planting season vegetables. However my hobby is definitely my small wine and raki production for which I am very proud off. My son Dimitris is helping me run the house. We would like to inform you that  Booking is making Immediate Booking an option that the owner cannot override. The syncing between platforms has never been 100% reliable .Although ManolisHouse will respond within few hours, please consider the fact that for all the above reasons, there are cases that due the Immediate  booking , some reservation might be off sync.We strongly encourage that you contact us prior your reservation. The village of Douliana is officially declared by the Greek Cultural Ministry as “traditional settlement of distinct natural beauty” The population during winter is not more than 20 people, while during summer it goes around 40 (locals) All of them are smiling, warm hearted people, without commercialized hospitality and faking attitude towards tourists. The village is on a dead end . Road does not pass through Douliana to somewhere else. This is an important element for your vacation decision. This small village is literally a neighborhood by its own. Explore the alleys and the small forests around the village. Nights in Douliana are unique. Don’t be a tourist. Blend with the locals and enjoy some genuine rare moments of a culture that is fading away.
