The quaint beach Mavra Volia could be easily visited since it is only 20km away(15-min drive) and the village Pirgi which seems to be a village of an another era is easily accessed too. It surely worths a visit since it is one of the largest and most impressive villages of Chios that is preserved in the exact way as it was built and has been declared to be a preserved monument. With a few sun beds and much free space on the beach, Lithi is a good choice if you want to get away from crowded places and have your own piece of mind. The beach is on the south west of the island and it is great for long-term sunbathing and relaxing. There is also a variety of Greek taverns nearby, where you can eat fresh fish. Τh
