The design principles followed were the impact of the buildings on the environment and the relation between indoor and outdoor spaces. The construction arrangements, the sequence of rooms, the adaptation to climate change were also important. Preserving agricultural land around the residences was a priority. Our aim was to create cozy hospitable spaces with respect to history and the landscape. From the very beginning we focused on the high quality of materials and construction based on bioclimatic design principles. The materials respect the health of the people and the environment making your stay in the indoor and outdoor spaces very pleasant.

Dear Guest, Mikro Livadi is a small family business consisting of 5 special lodges and a farm to the table restaurant offering traditional Cretan cuisine. Our aim is to provide high quality accommodation and food services following the Cretan hospitality principles. Mikro Livadi is located in Episkopi Rethymno, 150 m from the beach of Episkopi, in a quiet natural environment surrounded by olive trees and vineyards where you can enjoy a relaxed holiday close by the sea. We wish you a pleasant stay! Lots of people can eat at our farm to the bale restaurant but few of those can stay in our special lodges. There are only 5 lodges: Ambelos, Elia, Dafni Yasemi and Rogdia. Enjoy your stay in a comfortable aesthetically appealing place in harmony with natural environment. As of April 2022 Mikro Livadi Special Lodges infrastructure will be upgraded by an outdoor swimming pool equipped by spacious sun beds and umbrellas.
