Two entrances, one from the back and one from the yard directly from the beach. Ground floor Two double-bedded (160x200cm each bed) bedrooms on the ground floor share a bathroom (washing machine inside), an open-plan living room along a fully equipped kitchen area. On the same level is a front yard with an outdoor solar shower and a dining table where you can relax and enjoy your meal or even sunbathing. 1st floor There is the 3rd master bedroom (twin beds of 100x200 cm each bed) with its own bathroom and sea view balcony. Televisions are available in all bedrooms. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and all areas have ceiling fans. The house sleeps 6 adults in bedrooms. The interior space of the house is 102 square meters. Free parking on the main road. Platys Gialos is one of the largest beaches of Sifnos, as its name implies. For many years now it has been awarded with the Blue Flag from the European Union and is considered by many to be the most cosmopolitan beach on the island. Platys Gialos stands out for the golden, fine sand all over the beach. Umbrellas, sunbeds and deck chairs cover only a small percentage of the area and there is also a partial shade, offered by the trees of the beach. There are changing rooms, showers and toilets and you can easily find restaurants and cafés along the beach, with tables beside the sea. In addition, there are grocery stores (mini-markets), ATMs, pottery workshops, water sports facilities and the Marina of Platys Gialos. Local attractions include the White Tower 1.5 km northeast of the beach, one of the 77 ancient beacon towers (‘fryktories’) of the island and the best preserved. Platys Gialos is easily accessible by car, motorbike, bus, boat. Many hiking trails start from the village, heading towards Fikiada, Vathi, and the other central village settlements.
