As a united couple, we – Nicolas and Pamela – along with our daughter, left Switzerland to continue our family legacy here in Crete. Nicolas' parents, Gabriela and Jimmy, had a vision and discovered this beautiful spot with breathtaking views in the 1990s, which is now known as Mirtopolis. With the rich experience of Gabriela, who managed Mirtopolis herself for many years, and the help of our good fairy Nathalie, this family vacation paradise is lovingly maintained. We live and breathe hospitality and warmly invite you to discover the magic and tranquility of this place. We will be happy to welcome you at Mirtopolis, the little paradise in South-Eastern Crete, where you can enjoy a resting holidays away from mass tourism and in a peaceful and relaxing environment.

South-Eastern Crete is said to be the most original and ethnic part of the island and never is overcroweded by tourists. People make their living mostly from farming and accommodations are predominantly handled by the locals themselves. Here is where you still will find idyllic and alone standing coves and bays, the famous crystal-blue clear water of the Lybian sea, quiet and dreamy villages and always one of those typical Cretan cafénions, where you will be served a refreshing drink or local wines, Raki or Ouzo together with a home-made delicacy. Apart from taking a bath in the sun or sea, you can enjoy the unique world in the mountains, where the rich fauna will amaze you. If you prefer to be guided – no problem: The local travel agency organizes daytour trips in small groups that – according to the season - vary in the course of the year.
