Nakou Village, offers panoramic views to the Libyan sea. Each studio or apartment is unique by its design and decoration. Nakou Village is a family business and we take pride in providing personnalized service and attention to detail. Also we would like to inform you that Housekeeping is done twice in a weeks stay.

I am in the hotel business since my early years. My father operated a hotel in Zagazig, Egypt, where my family was living at the time. My origins are from Chios Island which I am fond off. First time in Crete: 1978, working as Room Divisions Manager at Elounda Beach Hotel, in Elounda. In 1980, we have moved to Ierapetra, withmy wife Dora and our daughter Ioanna, in order to manage Koutsounari traditional Cottages. In 1985, we started the first phase of Nakou Village, 10 apartments in a plot of 10 hectares, overlooking the Libyan sea. The second phase, added another 10 apartments and a swimming pool.

Koutsounari is a small village, located on a hill, full of olive groves. There are 3 tavernas at proximity (walking distance from Nakou Village).
