Built at the foot of Profitis Ilias Mountain , at Emporio village the island’s centre of commerce for centuries. Just 10 miles from Fira, the vibrant capital of Santorini, Emporio is the largest southern settlement on the island and boasts a long-standing history. In the heart of the traditional settlement of Emporio,guests can admire the well-preserved castle-like structures called kastelia. Each kasteli represents the distinctive building method of the islanders specifically chosen to protect the locals from hostile intrusion. They used to camouflage the buildings and bring them close together, creating curved and sturdy fortifications to withstand the enemies’ attacks and even lure them away. Beautifully renovated homes and yards can be found throughout the village. The houses have been well preserved and are known for their colorful doors and the village for its maze-like streets and nooks and angles that thrill visitors by bringing them back to a time long gone.

Nalas Suites is located at Emporio Traditional Settlement. We offer a choice of 6 traditional Suites, situated in the centre of Emporio. Emporio is a walkable village , with no car access . There is a public parking , you can leave your bike or car outside the old town and walk 2 minutes through the street. All our suites have a private outdoor Jacuzzi ( except Fortezza which has an indoor jacuzzi ). We do have a fridge , kettle, coffee / tea maker ,basic utensils for snacks. Check-In is at 15:00 and Check out is at 11:00 . Should you wish an arrival transfer from/to the airport/port We will be more than happy to organise it for you at an extra cost. Please note that this is a self catering basis property with no 24/7 reception.
