Through a journey that started in 2001, Oreo Travel was founded by Stratos Beretis, an experienced member of the Greek Tourism Industry, a Graduate of the Department of Economics of the University of Crete and a Master Degree Holder in Tourism Business Management. Having passed through several management positions, he was won over by the occupation with tailor made tourism services and especially in inbound tourism in villas, independent properties, country houses and small holiday rental units. Oreo Travel started as a representative of global tour operators and continues to this day with an ever-growing network of partners and properties in Crete, Peloponnese and Athens, in line with the new promotional and managing methods. Our goal at Oreo Travel is to promote the properties we partner with in the best way possible, by solely operating as a booking agent on behalf of our partner-property owners, whom we advise and guide in providing high standards of hospitality for their guests, in accordance with the regulations and the laws that govern the accommodation industry. Furthermore, we are constantly available for our guests to answer questions, solve potential problems that may arise while booking or staying in and to recommend services that may be needed to facilitate their stay and maximize their travel experience (car rental, transportation, tours, excursions and concierge services). In the small mountain village of Sfakia, Imbros, built in a magnificent location at the foot of the White Mountains at an altitude of 780 meters, is the Nomas house. Nomas is a detached tourist house, about 96m², which can accommodate from 2 to 6 persons. The building is a traditional stone building, the so-called one-roomed "chamber house" with mezzanines. The connection to the ground floor and the mezzanines is established by internal traditional wooden stairs. Renovated according to the Sfakia architecture, the characteristic stone arch, the wooden beams on the roof, as well as the addition of industrial elements. The interior design of Nomas is in harmony with the traditional aesthetics of the area, equipped with all modern amenities, offering a warm and welcoming environment. It includes 3 double beds, 1 bathroom, 1 dining room, and 1 fully equipped kitchen to cook your favorite dishes. The wooden furniture, earthy colors, linens, and industrial elements, all carefully tied together, harmonize the traditional with the modern industrial. The outdoor spaces include a lovely stone courtyard with a garden and swimming pool, with a unique, unobstructed view of the area.

The Ibros Gorge starts from there. It is about eight kilometers long and takes less than three hours of walking to cross it.
