Nostalgia Apartments are only 1.5 km away from the center of Corfu Town and 1km from the main airport of Corfu. Corfu town, especially for its oldest part, is one of the most charming and romantic places of all Greece. It is a perfect example of ancient Venetian and Byzantine art that will be able to fascinate you with its little streets and its panoramic points. Moreover, the old city of Corfu has been added to the famous list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The “historic city”, with its picturesque cantons and high-rise buildings built close to each other, with their small inner squares and cisterns, is essentially the once walled city, as it had developed until the end of the Venetian period, in the 18th century. Surrounded by the sea, the old town of Corfu is closed between the two ancient fortresses. Strongly influenced by the Venetians, the French, and the English it is a brilliant base for exploration. Get lost in the narrow cobblestone alleys, the so-called “kandounia”, visit museums, such as the Museum of Asian Art, walk down the famous Liston promenade, stroll around the huge Spianada square! About only 10 minutes walking distance from the Center you will find our beautiful and cozy apartments, built and decorated with love.
