Enjoy the cosy living room, the fully-equipped kitchen, the homely bedrooms, or the rooftop terrace barbequing, sunbathing, or bathing in the antique bathtub in a starry night, the ample sunshine, or under the sun umbrella. A big living-room sofa & classy armchair, warmly-coloured décor & local treats welcome you as you enter. New appliances, cutlery, cookware, ample cabinetry & a table for 6 synthesise a stylish kitchen for your meals; maybe with the food & drink supplies awaiting you. Visit the brand-new bathroom with the fine cone-shaped sink, tall hydromassage shower-cabin, bidet tap by the sanitised toilet seat, freshly-washed towels & toiletries. The fully-furnished bedrooms offer big wardrobes & windows with wooden shutters for you to let light in or shut it out. Eat at the rooftop picnic table & bench set by the electric BBQ; drink beer/wine while sitting in the director’s armchairs at the round metal-mosaic table and watching a movie online through our Wi-Fi/HDMI cable to connect the wall TV set with your laptop; sunbathe; or, soak in the antique, silver claw-foot white bathtub under the stars or the sun umbrella.

Thank you for choosing to stay in the Old Town Rhapsody in Rethymno, Crete; thus letting me share my home with you and welcome you with a small gesture of respect and appreciation, that is, traditional, guest-honoring treats, such as sweet and salty snacks, biological season fruits, raki, wine, beer, and cool sparkling and natural water.

Situated in the historic Old Town of Rethymno, the maisonette is conveniently located for anyone who wishes to experience both privacy and international socialising during cultural events, festivals, local celebrations, or simply at the diverse amusement places. Just a short stroll away, you’ll find the Venetian port, arches as well as minarets and churches, and an array of charming cafes, boutiques, and artisan shops. The town's vibrant nightlife and the stylish restaurants, tavernas, or pita-souvlaki places offering traditional Cretan and international cuisines on picturesque cobbled pathways or sea-viewing coastal spots and cliffs are also within easy reach; and so is a variety of beaches, historic places, and sights in the direction of the southern, eastern, and western parts of the region, all of which lie within a 30/40-minute drive at the furthest. Still, if you do not wish to drive, the suburban bus station being 3/4 minutes away from the house allows for trips to every other attraction on the island. This maisonette of charm and convenience is an ideal home for those seeking an authentic experience in one of Crete’s most seductive locales during a short or long holiday escape, a monthly or yearly residence, etc.
