Welcome to our cosy house located in a peaceful olive grove, perfect for nature lovers looking for a quiet stay away from crowds and the city. The property is situated approximately 26 miles from the centre of Athens and 18 miles from the Athens International airport. When accessing the property from Athens the road follows the very scenic coastline passing through the well known suburbs of Palio Faliro, Glyfada, Voula and Varkiza. The scenery for the whole journey is superbly serene. Our route leaves the coast at Saronida or Ananvissos (leaving suburbia behind) and then winds its way up over the hills before entering the Athens wine growing area. One is now in a countryside environment void of noise.. Two bikes are available, free of charge but upon request.

Annavyssos sandy beach is 7 klm from the property,many coffee shops are open from May to late November.The beach bar Cancun has all day music,water are very clean and you only pay for what you buy at the bar.During the week its relaxing but can get crowed on the weekends. The temple of Poseidon, at Sounio is only 10 min drive away,great time to visit is at sunset. Perched on the craggy rocks of Cape Sounio, the temple is enveloped in myth and historic facts dated from antiquity until the present times.There are stories about the ship of King Menelaus who stopped briefly at Sounio on his way back from Troy; or about the unfortunate King Aegeus who drowned himself on that spot and the Aegean Sea got named after him; or about the people who built a temple using local marble to honour the god of the sea and safeguard the profits from the neighbouring Lavrio mines. The port of Lavrio is a 15 min drive,full of fish taverns and coffee shops. The boats leave daily to the island of Kea. Just behind the main waterfront there is the fish market area where you will find many restaurants. Enjoy local food and fresh fish; taste some of the delicacies that Mediterranean cuisine offers
