Being a physiotherapist, in all my life, I have been close to the people., helping them, treating them with care. In 2011, I managed to realie one of my biggest dreams in my life, second after my beautiful family. To turn my old family house into a Vacation rental property. A little shy at the beginning, but soon we picked up our pace and till 2019, we got to welcome hundreds of people and show them to our side of genuine Cretan Hospitality. When the pandemic spread, together with my family we decided to suspend our operations. But returning the property to its operational state, never left my mind and heart. At the end of 2021, we decided to renovate the villas, always respectful to their spirit and history.
Our new aims, now are powered by the team of experts of Check-In Holidays and together we are here to help you have a most memorable time, in the Olive Villas.
Property info
Olive villas is a beautiful complex of 3 traditional, private villas, offering all our guests both the chance to feel the genuine experience of the cretan living pace as it used to be back in the old days and the facilities of a modern luxury villa.
The site where Olive villas are situated, back at the start of the previous century, used to be an olive press. The guests that will choose to stay in villa Voucamvilia, have the chance to see the old archs and parts of the old mill that have naturally been integrated with the villa’s interior facilites. Villa Kamelia used to serve as an old stone tank for water that was important for the oil extraction process. Nowadays it stands as a stone maisonette of 3 levels that can sleep comfortably up to 3 persons in 2 separate bedrooms, one of which is a master bedroom and the other sitting up on the attic. Villa Zerbera, came as an addition to the initial mill, around the middle of the previous century, to house the family that owned the mill. Over the years the family moved out and in 2011 they decided to turn this amazing construction into a Vacation property where guests could learn more about its history and dive into the local culture.

Krya Vrisi is a small region approximately 12km from the fishing village of Kolymbari, sitting peacefully between the traditional village of Astrikas and Deliana, almost lost amidst endless orchards of olive trees and mountains of green. The location is ideal for anyone that wants a strong taste of the beautiful countryside of Chania, as well as all those that enjoy destination hopping, or they want to literally live on a completely different pace, away from it all.
Moreover, the location is ideal for hiking or excursions in the region as well as experiencing the traditional Cretan way of life. It includes spacious bedrooms and living rooms, fireplaces, verandas with marvelous views and barbeque and fully equipped kitchen.
