My name is Susanne Hailer , I am German and I live in the island of Crete for many years.This is our first operational season after many years of pouring our heart and hard work into this project. We always strive to do better and improve our facilities and add to your experience. We look forward to the feedback and ideas of our first guests. Our four free-standing houses, each having its own personality, are the perfect get-away from the hubbub of modern-day life without sacrificing any of its comforts. You will find our houses to be equipped with fast and free WIFI, smart-TVs, and all the kitchen appliances you may need. The traditional building techniques and the locally sourced stones provide a shield from the summer heat, but of course, each unit is equipped with a state-of-the-art air conditioning system. We want the comforts and the advantages offered to be accessible by all and that's why two of our houses, URANOS and ALARGO, are handicap accessible. The South-east of Crete is the ideal vacation destination as it counts itself as one of the increasingly few yet undiscovered corners of our beautiful island. Near our villas, there are countless hiking trails, minoan paths, and the famous Sarakina Gorge. On your hikes you will be accompanied by the scents of Crete: thyme, oregano and pine. Cistus flowers bloom in all colors along the roadside. Just a five minute drive from our hotel is the seaside village of Myrtos, where you can experience first hand the hospitality of the locals. It is situated just off the beach it lends its name to. There you can find a supermarket, a small shop with local fruits and vegetables, a bakery, and a butcher’s. Its many local taverns offer delicious traditional dishes at affordable prices. Its many cafes offer a lovely view of the sea which only serves to complement the tasty local treats. You could also have your coffee delivered directly to the sun loungers on the beach. For those who prefer a quieter place, they can find their spot under the shade of the tamarisk trees. For the more adventurous visitor our hotel is the perfect starting point for day trips and excursions. We are surrounded by many picturesque villages, perfect to hike or drive to. An abundance of crystal-clear-water beaches are only a stone’s throw away. One of our beloved day trips is to the pristine island of Chrisi by way of Ierapetra. Ierapetra, only ten minutes away by car, itself is worth a visit as it offers a plethora of historical sites following the island’s deep history from antiquity to modern day.
