Located in Orne (Rethymnon), a village surrounded by picturesque hills, near ancient Acropolis of Castelos and just some km away from the famous beaches of the southern part of Crete (Agia Galini, Triopetra, Agios Pavlos). Our place is a traditional Cretan house and fully equipped for an authentic experience in beautiful Crete.

Location and area attractions: •The village of Agia Galini is just a twenty-minute (15km) drive from Orne Magical Resort. The sandy beach of Agia Galini awarded with a blue flag is known for its clean waters. It is ideal for families with children, since it provides sunbeds, parasols, restaurants and beach bars, where you can relax and enjoy your meal or drink. In Agia Galini you can find great restaurants serving fresh fish and traditional cuisine, cafes, bars, supermarkets and souvenir shops. •The village of Spili (19km-24min). This village of around 800 locals is a crossroads between the north and south coasts, between the beautiful Amari Valley and the beaches of Preveli, Plakias, Agia Fotini,Triopetra and Agia Galini in the south. Also to the south is the Kourtaliotiko Gorge which leads to Preveli Beach. There are quite a few tavernas here serving traditional Cretan food for the many travellers on the road from Rethymnon to beaches on the south coast. Those taking the local buses may need to stop to change buses here, definitely make time to sit beneath the flowing plane trees and drink a local coffee, perhaps a raki and some mezedes next to the gurgling waters.
