Hello! My name is Sofia and I come from Skopelos, where I grew up. I have studied Business Management, because I always wanted to have my own business in Skopelos. My husband Riginos and I have our own business, one motorbike repair shop and an accommodation in Stafylos, Skopelos. We love Skopelos countryside and we have spent some fantastic times at Pastalia Cottage, my husband’s family house, so we decided to share this beautiful house with others! Discover the Skopelos countryside like never before. Welcome to Pastalia Cottage, a unique two-story retreat nestled high above Skopelos Town on one of the island’s pine-covered hillsides. Surrounded by olive groves, forests, and breathtaking natural scenery, this charming cottage offers peace, privacy, and an authentic island experience. What makes Pastalia Cottage truly special is its handcrafted treehouse, a one-of-a-kind outdoor dining space where guests can enjoy al fresco meals while rediscovering their childhood wonder. After entering through a private front porch, the home opens into a cozy living space with a window facing the Aegean Sea, filling the space with natural light and beautiful views. The sofa can also be converted into a bed for a third guest. The fully equipped kitchen is located in the next room and includes everything needed for a comfortable stay. A full bathroom with a shower is also available on this level for added convenience. Upstairs opens onto a bedroom with beautiful high wood-beamed ceilings, where you will find a queen-size bed and a wardrobe. From here, you can access a balcony with stunning panoramic views of the mountains and Mediterranean nature around. Combining island charm with modern comforts, this countryside cottage offers a unique experience in a truly picturesque setting. Guests are free to explore the Skopelos countryside; there is even a hiking path which cuts through the forest to reach Skopelos town. IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO NOTE Our cottage is located 5,3 km away from Skopelos port, so a car is necessary to move around. The last 250 meters of the road leading from Skopelos to the villa are part of a rural dirt road. Most of the taxi companies will either not drive you all the way to the house, or charge you extra for driving on a dirt road. Children must be accompanied by an adult to access the tree house
