Pelagias Villa is located 800m from the beach between the villages of Kournas and Dramia on the western part of the island of Crete. On the border of Chania and the prefecture of Rethymno, about 40 kilometers east of the city of Chania you will find the coastal town Georgioupolis. It is one of the top tourist destinations for holidays in Crete. 4 km west of Georgioupolis is Kavros a long beach with crystal clear waters and golden sands. Pelagias villa is located at this village. Kavros and the surrounding areas are recommended for groups of friends, families and couples as they have a greatly developed tourist industry and meet the needs of the visitor who seeks a relaxing holiday but also those who want to enjoy the nightlife in the surrounding bar lounges. Kournas Lake: 4 km away from Kavros you will come across the picturesque Kournas with its wonderful natural freshwater lake , the only one that exists in Crete Ancient Lappa: Lappa was a significant, powerful Cretan city . In Mycenaean legends, it was believed to have been founded by Greek hero Agamemnon. Lappa is situated 15km southwest from Kavros Τhe Five Virgins (Pente Parthenes) in Argyroupoli.
