Petra traditional stone house is named of the Greek word "πέτρα-petra" meaning stone. Located in a beautiful and quiet area of Andros cycladic island that combines mountain and sea views, close to wonderful beaches, bars, restaurants and market, offering activities for the whole family but also for nightlife. The most famous beaches nearby are "MYLOS" and "GRIAS PIDIMA". Each Petra apartment is 110 sq. and offers comfortable accommodation for 4 guests, especially for a family with two children. It consists of a spacious living room with kitchen and dining area for 4 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary amenities for daily cooking. In the apartment there are 2 bedrooms with hardwood floors, closets and windows with panoramic view. One bedroom has a double bed and the other one two single beds. Finally, there is a bathroom with a bathtub. Outside, you can enjoy panoramic view from the spacious balcony with stone table, while on the ground floor there is a communal garden with lawn suitable for children to play.
The area is surrounded by traditional villages with rich folklore and archaeological monuments. Due to the many paths the area is suitable for hiking and walking escapes. Dipotamata is a small river (about 7 km. long) with great natural beauty. In the ravine there is a wide paved path which until 1950 was the only road connecting Chora with Korthi Bay. To the point that intersects with the river there is an arched bridge and occasionally there are small fountains and ponds. Also there are more closely terraced paths that connect the villages of the area with fields and groups of watermills who served them.
