I have lived in Chicago for over 20 years. I am a clinical psychologist and family therapist. I am a mother of 3 adult children and a big Santorini fan. My family is from Santorini and Pink Freud is built in my family land which many years ago used to be a vineyard. My goal is to provide a great holiday experience to my guests, and to recommend individualized activities -according to my guests interests- that will create a meaningful experience.

Built in 2021, brand new and super clean, vey easy access since it is located across of a public parking, has a jetted swimming pool with hydro massage, located in Foinikia, the most traditional and beautiful little village in Santorini. A lot of attention has been given to details that will make your stay comfortable. AC in every room, windows with shades and mosquito nets, work friendly with satellite WiFi, a full kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, top quality beds and linen and good quality materials that are in sync with Santorini design. One of the great advantages of choosing Foinikia as your destination is its location and beauty. It provides great settings for photography, small paths with caved homes and flowers, and it is only ten minutes walking distance to cosmopolitan Oia where you can see and experience the worlds most beautiful sunset.

Neighborhood info

The tranquil village of Finikia is located on the north part of Santorini, 10 kilometers northwest of the capital Fira, very close to Oia settlement. The village stands out for the colorful buildings that remind a painting and compose an incredible setting. It overlooks green vineyards and the neighboring islandsThe architecture of the traditional houses will transfer you to a past era but many houses have been beautifully restored as well. Contrary to the architecture of Oia, where the houses are built on the caldera owing a wild beauty, the houses in Finikia are in harmony and consist of delightful yards, stairs and interesting facades. As you enter the village there is an impressive, big stone wall made of black volcanic rocks. There are many chapels on the vineyards. The church of Agia Matrona, which was built in 1859, is the greatest attraction of Finikia and from its yard you can gaze an unforgettable view. This remarkable church of ocher color has a wondrous bell tower and the tall palm tree that adorns its yard is its hallmark.
