The “Politia” hotel is a preservable building in the Historical centre of the city and which functions as traditional lodging. The “Politia” hotel is constisted of two traditional building groups which are joined with a big paved courtyard. Elements as the stone arched passageway, sculptured metal iron gate, the old stone well and the arched windows, the characteristically untouched classical architecture of Ioannina dating back to the original architectural drawing of 1871 and giving the Hotel something from the long lost nostalgic charm of Ioannina of another era. In March 2000 both building blocks were renovated in order to turn the “Politia” hotel into a distinguished hotel which offers the conditions for a quiet and pleasant stay in the Historical Centre of Ioannina, the city of legends and traditions.There have been works of renovation in 2014 and 2022 in every room and commonly used space in our hotel, which is consisted of 10 rooms, bed-sitters and suites. All of them are completely equipped with all facilities necessary for a pleasant stay. The “Politia” Hotel is also capable of hosting groups of up to 25 persons.

Anexartisias street is one of the oldest streets in Ioannina and was for many years the commercial center of the town. Today the street is very alive day and night as there are many shops and coffee bars. Visitors can see the traditional architecture as 90% of the buildings have no more than two floors and are preservable.
