The Pura Vida Villa is the favorite of many, because it combines a peaceful, luxurious home away from home, right on the brink of the Caldera, but only a few footsteps from the central village of Imerovigli and the central road which leads to Fira or Oia depending on the direction. The house has a private outside terrace area on the top where one can sunbathe savoring the view, or dip in the Outdoor Jacuzzi (Cold or Hot water) to cool off when the temperatures allow it. There is a second outside area at ground level with a second Jacuzzi, less private, but where guest can enjoy the activity on the path, where people pass by or stop for photos. The house is built right into the rock behind, but has been refurbished to blend this strange morphology with a “class” setting. There are lights built into the walls throughout the house, and modern amenities have been customized to offer a tranquil and modern environment. The house is best to be used by 4 people, where couples or parents/children can have their privacy. There are also two built-in Sofas in the living room where two additional people can sleep with comfort. Hot and Cold air-conditioning is available throughout, and keeps the house at the right temperature throughout the year! The living room and kitchen are blended together. On one side there is a fully set kitchen complete with two burners, a microwave oven, coffee makers, a boiler and various pans for use. On the other side there is a stool dining table for breakfast or lunch. The main living room area is setup with a comfortable sofa, TV, and two designer tables to savor a cool drink in the evening or a snack. The terrace area also features an outdoor dining area (we can also arrange for private catering at the house), large sun bed and umbrella in front of the upper Jacuzzi.

Imerovigli is on the central part of the Caldera, offering one of the best views on the island. The area is full of small stores and restaurants during the main season (April to October) and is more peaceful in the low season (November – March). A 20 minute drive or 2 hours of trekking to the west can take you to the beautiful village of Oia where people gather in the evening to watch the sunset, dine or walk through the multitude of stores. A 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk to the East will take you to Fira, the place to be for bars, clubs, action, and shopping, as well as different choices of food ranging from the most sophisticated chefs to the more traditional taverns. Half way between Imerovigli and Fira you will go through Firostefani, where you will find more choices of restaurants and local stores. The Airport as well as the black beaches of Santorini are a 20-30 minute drive to the other side of the island, and the port is about 20 minutes away.
