Through a journey that started in 2001, Oreo Travel was founded by Stratos Beretis, an experienced member of the Greek Tourism Industry, a Graduate of the Department of Economics of the University of Crete and a Master Degree Holder in Tourism Business Management. Having passed through several management positions, he was won over by the occupation with tailor made tourism services and especially in inbound tourism in villas, independent properties, country houses and small holiday rental units. Oreo Travel started as a representative of global tour operators and continues to this day with an ever-growing network of partners and properties in Crete, Peloponnese and Athens, in line with the new promotional and managing methods. Our goal at Oreo Travel is to promote the properties we partner with in the best way possible, by solely operating as a booking agent on behalf of our partner-property owners, whom we advise and guide in providing high standards of hospitality for their guests, in accordance with the regulations and the laws that govern the accommodation industry. There is also a bathroom with shower and a washing machine. All bedrooms are equipped with individual controlled air conditions and a flat TV sets. Plakias is a coastal settlement at the southern Crete, 40 km south of Rethymno, with 237 permanent residents, built at the cove of the bay of the same name on a wonderful sandy beach, 1300 m long, between the capes Stavros and Kako Mouri, that is ideal for swimming and sea sports.
