Rocky Beach House is located in the jewel of Kythira, Avlemonas. The view from the home is picture postcard. The sea is at your feet, maintaining a level of anonymity while also being a few minute walk to the cafes and restaurants of Avlemonas and the famous bay. It is situated in a historic area, where many battles were fought, important ships sunk and the Goddess of love, Aphrodite, was born. Rocky Beach House gives you access to this from the quaintness of the home. The space It is an entire home on the water, located in a quiet and private area of Avlemonas, which is an extremely rare find for the area. It consists of two storeys; upstairs has a large comfortable double bed and also a stylish sofa lounge made to sleep two people. It also has an ensuite and shower. Downstairs has a fully-equipped kitchen, dining space, a lounge room with a double sofa bed and sofa. There are two balconies upstairs overlooking the sea and downstairs has multiple areas for outdoor dining. Both levels are accessible from the outside, as well as a spiral staircase inside.

I am writer based in Kythira, Greece. I love to read, discover the wonders of history and culture, and to share my passion of my ancestral home. With my wife, we work in restoring traditional homes in Kythira and look after the management of them. My partner, Carla, is also a creative soul, who dabbles in sewing and other for-purpose work.
