Escape from the busy city life and take full advantage of this hillside dreamy heaven. The Villa has large windows for unobstructed views of the island ''Dia'', the sacred mountain of Jiouchtas and the cretan countryside. Explore the Cretan countryside villages and visit the southern beaches of Crete, such as the famous Matala beach! Depending on the season you will visit the villa, you will be able to taste the fruits of the season directly from the trees that surround the villa. The perfect holiday escape!

Samiro Private Home Villa based on absolute privacy amphitreatically placed on a hillside outside of Agios Miron. Agios Miron in Heraklion, only 23km away from the international airport ''Nikos Kazantzakis'' and 17km away from Heraklion is a small peaceful village, with great religious and archaeological interest. In the village square you can find traditional products, mini market, cafe,tavern and souvlaki! In ancient times was called Rafkos. Here are hosted the tomb and the relics of Saint Miron the Cretan, which are said to smell of myrrh, and below the imposing teble there its hermitage that has been transformed into a chapel! In the hermitage still flows holy water that is said to have appeared after a prayer to save the people of Rafkos from water scarcity. For the faithful the space is an oasis of spiritual uplift. On August 8, one of the biggest festivals in Crete takes place. Rent a car recommended, giving you the oportunity to explore the Cretan conutryside, all the villages of wider area and visit the southern beaches of Crete, such as the famous Matala beach!
