Independent apartment 53m2 on the 2nd floor of a large house, two rooms, living room, kitchen and bedroom. Two single beds in the bedroom or one double bed, depending on the needs of our visitors. Sofa bed for 2 people in the living room. Small kitchen equipped, WiFi, TV, air conditioning. Two large terraces facing the sea, paved courtyard around the house, 3000 m2 of Mediterranean garden, fenced grounds. Several beaches at a distance of 1.5 to 3 Km. Each of the rooms opens onto a large terrace. Part of the terrace in front of the living room-kitchen is shaded and protected from the wind and will be your dining room facing the Aegean sea! The other part will serve as a solarium or night sky observatory. In the living room-kitchen there is of course a kitchenette with 2 hotplates and fridge, a dining table, a TV and a sofa bed for two people. In the bedroom there are two single beds, or a double bed depending on your needs, an office table and a storage cupboard. The view towards the sea is breathtaking from two rooms. You will see the islands of Serifos, Sifnos when the sky is clear, the islet of Piperi and a piece of Kythnos.

We are a French-Greek couple, living for six months at the foot of the Alps and working on the scientific research. We love Syros, an authentic island away from tourist clichés. When we are not working and we are not in Syros, we like to travel and race in the Mediterranean with our small sailboat in the footsteps of Odysseus.

Adiata, where the house is located, is a small settlement, with a few houses above Posidonia, face to the bay of Finikas and the endless blue of the Aegean Sea. It is very easy to come from the port of Ermoupolis, in about 15 minutes. The neighborhood is very quiet and there are only three houses next to us.
